since there’s a mother’s day and a father’s day, where we’re supposed to worship our parents for all the good things they’ve done, i think there needs to be a day where parents have to make amends for all the shit they’ve put a kid through. then, if the kid doesn’t feel that the amends made are adequate, they may take the balance out in pranks and spiteful comments, while the parents are allowed to do and say nothing about it. quite honestly, there’s no way for a kid to retaliate against their parents, as they hold all the power. this holiday remedies that.
